Our Electrolyser is easly the most robust and reliable electrolyser in the world. The electrolyser can produce hydrogen continuously for years without a major stop. The electrolyser itself requires only a general overhaul every 6-8 years. With its basic technology optimised and with an installed base in a wide range of industries, this proven electrolyser technology is unrivalled by anyone, and ensures a reliable hydrogen supply for whatever application.
Cost-efficient plants
Once the electrolyser plant is installed there is only one major cost element related to running the entire plant; namely energy. Hydrogen Technologies has developed a catalytic coating which reduces the energy consumption. This electrolyser has the lowest energy consumption per Nm3 available in the market – reducing the operating costs to a minimum.
With our state-of-the art PLC control system, the plant runs automatically and unattended. Only routine shift inspections are required, reducing labour costs to a minimum.
The maintenance required for the electrolyser plant is insignificant. Annual maintenance costs are typically 1-2% of the total investment, the exception being the major overhaul required for the electrolyser scheduled every 7- years.
The useful life of the electrolysers from Hydrogen Technologies is very long. The electrolyser plant can easily run for 30 – 40 years provided that the maintenance schedule is followed.
Maximum capacity for one electrolyser is 500 Nm3/hr. This is the largest atmospheric pressure water electrolyser in the world. So, where you would have to invest in several electrolysers from other manufacturers, you can do with only one from Hydrogen Technologies.
